Stress

People deal with stress in different ways, some good, some bad and some in ways that are neither. I don't get stressed out too often but when I do finally sucom to it, it's a lot. Half of me wants to go to the box and take it out on push presses, the other part of me wants to find a spot on the couch, pour myself a class of Johnny Walker and veg out on bullshit tv shows. I see it and that's good but I still want to do the latter. The box will be there tomorrow right?

Been in school, not making it to too many WODs but when I do I feel it. Crossfit for me is something I've realized that I'll always do on some level. Selling Crossfit shirts though, while fun, is not something I can do for a living. I wish but I can't.... We found out few weeks ago that my wife is preggos with #2!!! She is due in June! I still remember my first WOD with Vic over two years ago at Bayou City Crossfit. I look back at it now and laugh because that bastard kept tricking me saying, "we're almost done, just one more" when he new damn well that we were nowhere near done. He was helping me push myself. My wife got me interested about CF and I told her I would check it out but I was skeptical. I knew I needed to do something but my experience with people who worked out was not good, thanks Bally's... Thank goodness I met a good, honest guy who set the tone for my experience. Not only Vic but the great coaches he chose to staff BCCF; Charlie, Drew and Shelby to name a few. My life before that was a long road to being honest with myself, a graduate looking to get my Masters, a good father, a good husband, a good son, a good brother and a hard working, responsible man.
